Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Monarch' Collaboration
The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Monarch' is a highly anticipated collaboration between the renowned Amsterdam sneaker boutique and Nike. Set to release in October 2021, this unique redesign of the classic performance running shoe draws inspiration from Patta's connection to its community.
The 'Monarch' offers a fresh twist on the iconic Air Max 1 with a wavy pattern on the mudguard. This subtle modification adds a modern flair to the timeless design. The shoe also features signature Patta branding on the tongue and inner lining, as well as a small Swoosh embroidered on the lateral side of the mudguard.
The upper is constructed from silver mesh, while the overlays are made of a tonal felt material. The orange Swoosh on either side of the shoe and 'Nike Air' detailing on the heel add pops of color to the overall design. A small visible Max Air unit in the heel of the cream midsole completes the look.
